Fedora 27 Cinnamon: White Area Problem you can't see any font or letter.

    Hi,

I am using Fedora 27 Cinnamon. I notice many application within the OS would have this problem, where you can't read anything, because the background and the letters are nearly the same color.

    One application is Playonlinux.

However, the same issue would happen when using Firefox as well as the other application.

    My current theme is below.

Similar issue would happen to Firefox 57, especially, when you can't read your username, that you have just typed, or see any of your password

clearly you've stumbled upon a bug in the GTK+3 arc-theme that needs addressing. please create a new bug against arc-theme

The issue reproduces in adwaita-dark theme as well, firefox maintainer blames muffin for the issue.
I currently use this addon for FF

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/fir...t-fix/?src=api

Switching to a light theme should fix the issue.

    Hi there,

Muffin belongs to Cinnamon DE correct? Should I let them know of this issue?

    Thank you.

File it here as I have no intention to fix it at redhat bugzilla

Re: Fedora 27 Cinnamon: White Area Problem you can't see any font or letter.

    Hello,
I have exactly the same problem with firefox 57 on fedora 27 cinnamon. I have added the extension "font contrast fix" but I'd like to know if there's another to fix this problem without adding external solution?
I looked for the issue on github but can't find a fix. Thank you
sorry for my bad english, thanks for your understanding....

Choose a light theme (gtk) instead of dark.
