November 2nd update KDE now kodi broken

After a lot of kf5-* updates on November 2nd kodi no longer plays video.

Nothing crashes it even seems to think it is playing video because timer shows progress but no audio or video.

I know, kodi is rpmfusion but does anyone else have this problem or any problems related to playing media after these KDE updates?

It turns out it was Negativo17's multimedia stuff that broke kodi. I downgraded ffmpeg and kodi works fine again.

Had a similar issue but with general video playback within the KDE Plasma environment. I.e. would double click a video file, Dragon Player would open but then nothing would happen (also affected KMplayer as well as the previews in the sidebar; VLC still worked)

Ultimately did rollback some packages to restore functionality,

    Code:

As shown I was also using negativo17, I believe by way of Fedy some time ago; first time I ever had an issue
