SMPlayer auto-start after laptop wakes up from sleep

    Hi,

SMPlayer auto-starts after the laptop wakes up from sleep.

    How can I disable this?

    Many thanks.

I don't think there is any. It is normal to resume any media after suspend.
    All media players do that...

    Hello,

    I beg to differ.

If SMPlayer was in paused state when the laptop went tpo sleep then it should remain so when the laptop resumes — because the laptop should resume at the same state

Both VLC and SMPlayer resumed a paused state correctly for several Fedora releases until Fedora 26

In Fedora 26 SMPlayer has become unusable for me, I had to switch to VLC which behaves correctly.

In Fedora 26 SMPlayer resumes playing on all instances, even if minimized and told to pause when minimized.

    Regards.

That's strange... I don't have this kind of problem...
Try resetting mplayer's configs by removing the .config/smplayer/ folder.

Which backend are you using? Mpv or mplayer?
    I use mplayer.
