    I just replaced my /home drive :)

    Hello,

i just replaced my /home drive to something bigger and ofcause i fell over the mapping ..

I aint understand the drive mapper in Fedora and now i just mounted the drive in oldschool way from /dev/sdc1 to /home in fstab.

Its working all okay, but before there was this /dev/mapper/fedora00-home link.

I wonder if i should "correct" this, how to handle the mapping ?!
And why has this mount mechanic changed ?
Does it affect the single power user ?
or is it something for the bigger boyz ?

ok i start reading and learning the mapper, but must i really spend my lifetime for it ?
    aww .. Linux ..
