    Kernel No Battery

Last night i upgraded to kernel 4.13.5 on a FC 26 64Bit system with KDE.
The OS is installed on a dell laptop with a NON-original battery and a 1Tb WD-Red.

    Upon system-tray>Battery and brightness:
i get the message that there is NO battery included.

When i reboot to kernel the message disappears, and i see the message that the battrty is 100% charged.

    Any idea's?

    Re: Kernel No Battery

Have a look under /sys/class/power_supply under the 2 kernels, perhaps something in the structure there has changed and the system-tray hasn't caught up with the change yet. I'm not sure how system-tray (is that Gnome?) finds the battery info, but I'd guess it's from the /sys filesystem.
