A server with two nic, two ip adresses, two hostnames in different domain

    Greats Everybody !

My routeur have a public ip address provided by no-ip and ports 80 and 53 are redirected to my server 192.168.1.1 on aproximatively the same ports.
my server have two nic with two different ip address in two differents network 192.168.1.0/24 and 192.168.168.0/24. The ip address on the second network is 192.168.168.134 (i precise i have changed my ip addresses).
    192.168.1.1 is macbeth.infosysdevconcept.net and 192.168.0.134 is lear.local.infosysdevconcept.net
nslookup give me a good result with non authoritative answer. logical, named is out of order.

    systemctl status -l named says
    oct. 12 08:32:34 macbeth.infosysdevconcept.net bash[6430]: db.192.168.168:134: ignoring out-of-zone data (11.168.192.in-addr.arpa.local.infosysdevconcept.zone)
    oct. 12 08:32:34 macbeth.infosysdevconcept.net bash[6430]: db.192.168.168:136: ignoring out-of-zone data (11.11.168.192.in-addr.arpa.local.infosysdevconcept.zone)

    oct. 12 08:32:34 macbeth.infosysdevconcept.net bash[6430]: _default/168.168.192.in-addr.arpa/IN: bad zone

    i precise i don't have knowledge of 192.168.168.136.

    named-checkconf -z /etc/named.conf give other informations :

Re: A server with two nic, two ip adresses, two hostnames in different domain

Hello Ocratato and thanks for your answer

I would try to make working the dns server for the two differents domain. Actually he is down.
Ideally i want that my hostname would be lear.local.infosysdevconcept.net and that the dns server works only on this ip with a redirection of ports by iptables (yet configured).
After i want that lear works too for the apache server, in the same type of configuration.
Sorry for imprecisions, i have some diffulties to express in english, not my native language ;-)
Ask for some precise questions and i will answer.
checkconf says my configuration is bad !
    thanks for helping,

    Francesco

Re: A server with two nic, two ip adresses, two hostnames in different domain

    Greats,

The thread is closed, i have let fall this configuration. However, it could be interesting to can configure it : an public hostname and local ip adress, and a second hostname and ip adress in a different domain which is configured for servers on atypic ip address with a formardin on differents ports by iptables.

Just a little bit complex for the moment !!!

Thanks anyway Ocratato to have read my litterature !!!

    Regards,
    Franck
