Switching from Cinnamon to Gnome (Wayland) without reinstalling?

I installed Fedora 26 Cinnamon before I realized Cinnamon doesn't use Wayland. Is it possible to install Gnome and switch to it and Wayland? I'm running a Nvidia GTX1060.

do you game using your nvidia? then I don't think you should use Wayland for now

    probably wait until GNOME 3.26...

No gaming just browsing and productivity. I installed Gnome and Wayland but the login just loops if I select Gnome. I think it's because I'm using the proprietary Nvidia driver instead of Nouveau.
