    USB problems after kernel update

    Hello Folks,
after upgrading my kernel from 4.11.2 to 4.12.9 I am getting a lot of USB errors, and USB devices are no longer working correctly. In particular, I have a mouse and headset connected to a USB hub in my monitor, and they are unusable for 30-90 seconds after boot, and sometimes when the system has been running but I turn off the monitor. I'm seeing errors like the following:

    Code:
    kernel: hub 1-4.1:1.0: hub_ext_port_status failed (err = -110)
    kernel: usb 1-4.2: 2:1: usb_set_interface failed (-110)
    kernel: usb 1-4.2: 2:1: usb_set_interface failed (-19)
kernel: usb 1-4.2: USB disconnect, device number 6
kernel: usb 1-4: device descriptor read/64, error -110
kernel: usb 1-4: device descriptor read/64, error -110
When I boot the old kernel (4.11.12) USB works fine.

I'm running F25 on AMD Phenon II CPUs with a Asus M4A78T-E motherboard.

    Has anyone else seen this?

    Rob
