Upgrade was unsuccessful, Fedora broke down

I have Fedora 20, when I tried to do something in termianal (I forgot, what exactly) it showed a message, that Fedora 20 had come to EOL. So, I decided to upgrade it, using fedup to 22:

sudo fedup --network 22 --product=nonproduct

As a result - It says, that dropbox will be not installed, and one conflict in perl version (it was warning, not error). Then I reboot, chose upgrade in grub and it stopped at upgrading wine-systemd. I left it for night, and it still was there. I didn't know what to do and manually powered off my laptop.
When I started it, in grub was only boot Fedora 20 and rescue. Both of them aren't working - login-systemd can't start. And it restarts continously and always failed. I can't do anything.
How to fix at least old version?

try booting from the install dvd
maybe you can upgrade the broken install from there?
wipe out the old f20 install
got a backup of your data ~/

I've already reinstalled Fedora. I have /home, /usr, /boot and / on separate partitions, so, it was not so painful, but still, just wondering, why upgrade was not successful?
