    F21 Not finding libdvdcss

Bought a new hard drive and ad to re-install F21 (KDE-Live) this week. All went perfectly until both Duli's EasyLife and Autoten failed to install libdvdcss.

    The errors from EasyLife read:
    package libdvdcss is not installed
    Loaded plugins: langpacks
    No plugin match for: refresh-packagekit
ftp://mirrors.tummy.com/pub/rpm.livn...ta/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] FTP Error 550 - Server denied you to change to the given directory
    Trying other mirror.
    http://ftp-stud.fht-esslingen.de/pub...ta/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404 - Not Found
    Trying other mirror.
    http://wftp.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/linux...ta/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404 - Not Found
    Trying other mirror.
    http://rpm.livna.org/repo/21/x86_64/...ta/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404 - Not Found
    Trying other mirror.

One of the configured repositories failed (rpm.livna.org for 21 - x86_64),
and yum doesn't have enough cached data to continue. At this point the only
safe thing yum can do is fail. There are a few ways to work "fix" this:
Is Livna repo not available any longer?

    Thanks

    Re: F21 Not finding libdvdcss

    On the livna site:

rpm.livna.org in the past provided many useful packages that those distributions rpm.livna.org supports did not want to ship for one reason or another. In 2008 rpm.livna.org merged with two other package repositories into RPM Fusion. All packages have been moved there except one that RPM Fusion for various reasons didn't want to take. Hence rpm.livna.org will remain running to ship just that package. rpm.livna.org is fully compatible with RPM Fusion and all other Fedora add-on repos that don't ship the package that rpm.livna.org ships.

Seems like you should just use rpmfusion.

On the other hand, it looks like I grabbed libdvdcss from atrpms:

    yum whatprovides /usr/lib64/libdvdcss.so.2

libdvdcss2-1.2.11-6.fc18.x86_64 : Shared libraries for package libdvdcss
    Repo : @atrpms/18
    Matched from:
    Filename : /usr/lib64/libdvdcss.so.2

    Fedora 30 x84_64 on 500GB Seagate Barracuda

    Re: F21 Not finding libdvdcss

Thank you, all. I got the latest from arehtykitna's link (thanks!) and was able to you a yum localinstall on that .rpm file. Seems to have worked!

So I'll mark this thread as solved.
