Unable to boot livecd or boot.iso on Acer C720P

    Hello everyone.

Just as the title says, I am unable to boot any bootable media for Fedora 21 or rawhide on this machine.

I am aware of the 'mem=' trick as well as the Arch wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php...720_Chromebook), fedora-fr (http://forums.fedora-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=61252), and the Red Hat bugzilla (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1045821).

I have been able to boot/install Fedora 20 several times.

    Any thoughts??

    Thanks.

Just to follow up a bit.

The computer displays "Probing EDD (edd=off to disable)" and then immediately reboots.

I tried adding edd=off the the kernel boot command line, without success.

I have tried the latest LXDE livecd build, without success.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?
