How can I change the login screen resolution: lightdm

Hi fellow Fedorians, I've been trying to accomplish this for a few days now without any success. I've installed Fedora 20 using Mate spin and everything is running smooth except the high resolution of the login screen's just annoying me a bit. When I installed Fedora, it decided I should have 1680x1050 which is the maximum for my monitor. I changed the desktop resolution to 1440x900 to suit my eyes, but unfortunately can't set the login screen res.

I've searched here and haven't seen anything useful, but found few links to do with Ubuntu. I followed this one http://askubuntu.com/questions/73804...een-resolution with small mods like /bin/bash. The script I created works to change the desktop resolution but doesn't change login screen resolution

Here is the output of xrandr -q

    Code:
    Screen 0: minimum 8 x 8, current 1440 x 900, maximum 4096 x 4096
    DVI-I-0 connected primary 1440x900+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 470mm x 300mm
       1680x1050 60.0 +
       1440x900 75.0 59.9*
       1360x765 60.0
       1280x1024 75.0 60.0
       1280x960 60.0
       1280x720 60.0
       1152x864 75.0
       1024x768 75.0 70.1 60.0
       800x600 75.0 72.2 60.3 56.2
       640x480 75.0 72.8 59.9
DVI-I-1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
TV-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DVI-I-2 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DVI-I-3 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
And this is what's in the script

    Code:
    #!/bin/bash
xrandr --output DVI-I-0 --primary --mode 1440x900
I'm not sure if it's even possible to do it in Fedora. So was hoping that the more knowledgeable people here will be able to guide me in the right direction.

    Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the link Pablo, but unfortunately none of the examples worked. I'll wait and see if others will will have more ideas.
