fedora 20 mate compiz problem

When i enable compiz as the window manager the cursor changes to a black one (Adwaita).
i tried to change it but now matter what i do it remains black with exception when the cursor is over some applications like firefox, then it looks like it should.

i already tried changing in dconf the cursor theme in gnome and mate for the one i want, also edited
/usr/share/icons/default/index.theme but didn't work

if i disable compiz the cursor theme works.


any possible solution to have a cursor theme and compiz at the same time ?

In Fedora 20 mate+compiz 64bits

use terminal command: $fusion-icon

, after my pc freeze.

@about cursor theme
lightm-gtk-1.8.5-9.fc20 fix the issue
If you use compiz you can switch the cursor theme in ccsm manager.
see rhbz (#989152)

using compiz with a livecd isn't funny, performance is too low.
nouveau crashed because of missing memory in your case.
Install Mate on disk and you'll be happy.
