    Gnome print notification stupidity

    I notice that when printing thirty copies of a one page document for hand outs to a class that I get a senseless print notification for each individual copy. Is there any way to alter this behaviour - or maybe I should report it as a bug.

    Re: Gnome print notification stupidity

    Code:
    $ gnome-control-center notifications
    Disable the apps you don't want notifications from there.

    You can also use dconf-editor to edit more settings.
    or
    gsettings.

    Code:
    Finding the schemas of interest:
    $ gsettings list-schemas | grep -i notif

    Listing the values to target:
    $ gsettings list-keys org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.print-notifications

    Changing the value:
    $ gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.print-notifications active false
