Gedit doesn't show any recent files

After upgrading to fedora 19, gedit has stopped showing "recent files" in the File menu. Does anybody know if this is a bug, a feature or perhaps something to do with new privacy settings?

Re: Gedit doesn't show any recent files

The Fedora updrade here from 18>19 gedit lists 5 recent documents next after the "Print" entry. I'll have to check my other upgrades to see if there was a change there. Could be a privacy setting as you mentioned but not sure where you would change setting for that.

Yup, nothing between "print" and "Exit" for me...
