    systemd + rc.local

    Got slightly insane when my cpu got stuck with 1.6 ghz (under heavy load)
    So I installed cpufreq-utils from fedora16 beacuse it wasnt there for 17. GRR
    Well when I got it working I needed a init script. And because of systemd. I needed to do,
    create this file
    /etc/systemd/system/rc-local.service
    put this into it..
    [Unit]
    Description=/etc/rc.local Compatibility
    ConditionPathExists=/etc/rc.local

    [Service]
    Type=forking
    ExecStart=/bin/sh /etc/rc.local
    TimeoutSec=0
    StandardOutput=tty
    RemainAfterExit=yes
    SysVStartPriority=99

    [Install]
    WantedBy=multi-user.target
    Alias=rc-local.service

    run,
    systemctl enable rc-local.service
    got some errors but it worked anyways....
    systemctl start rc-local.servce

    Im sure that it could be done another way. But I dont know how.
    Hope it helped.

    EDIT: also created the /etc/rc.local and put some stuff in it..
    cpufreq-set -g performance
    cpufreq-set -c 1 -g performance

    EDIT2: updated my system and cpupower replaced cpufreq-utils
    so one line works good.
    cpupower frequency-set -g performance &

    Re: systemd + rc.local

    There is a configuration file for cpupower: /etc/sysconfig/cpupower
    And there is a service, so edit the configuration parameters, then
    Code:
    systemctl enable cpupower.service
    That's all.
    :confused:
