Re: Install KeePass 2 in Fedora 16

The packages mono-core and mono-winforms are enough to run KeePass.

    So
    yum install mono-core
    yum install mono-winforms
The directory where the .kdbx file, the password database, has to be writeable by the user. Otherwise KeePass will not be able to update it.

Some tips for making the Firefox plugin "KeeFox" work.

Check the KeeFox home page: http://keefox.org/

Download a version with Linux support, not necessary the latest one. Currently verion 096b does. Check the old verions download page: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...efox/versions/

You need to install the file KeePassRPC.plgx file manually, It has to reside, or linked to, from a plugins subdirectory in the KeePass directory.

Check the settings "KeeFox" -> "Settings", "KeePass" tab, that the directoriies for the plugin and KeePass and the location of Mono are correct.
