I recently upgraded from Fedora 14 to Fedora 16 and having trouble getting IPv6 to work properly with Network Manager. I have two interfaces, eth0 (wired connection 1) and eth2 (wired connection 2); only the eth2/wired connection 2 network is IPv6-capable.

When I have IPv6 enabled on Wired Connection 2 (by setting the Method in the advanced configuration/IPv6 settings to Automatic, I get the following sequence of syslog messages every minute or so:

I have been forced to shut down IPv6 for the time being to get things to quiet down.

Searches have yielded similar reports of this problem in Debian and other Linux variants, but no resolution. One such report seemed to correlate the messages to route announcements from my router; it shouldn't be changing anything if the route announcement is the same.

Is this a known problem for Fedora?
