I have a little problem in making an update of FC 2 ...
I am connecting behind a proxy mounted on a winxp computer, and i can not update the OS.

The tool for recognize the available updates seems to work fine, i have a red icon on the task bar telling me that there are 440 updates to make (a few of them, eh eh eh, what a dam).

But the fu***ing up2date seems not to be able to connect to the server in order to download them (i am not using the default server i change it in order to see if there was any problem, or if it was very busy...)

I have tried also to update directly from the text mode and this is the response i recive:

[root@localhost etc]# yum update

i have tried also making this export http_proxy=http://myhostort/
and then i get the same response

i have also change the /etc/wgetrc and writing there my proxy info

and of course the same happens if i try up2date from the command line:

[root@localhost etc]# up2date

Any idea of what the hell is stopping me of getting the precious updates????????
