Fedora abandons support for floppy disk?

Friends I am having trouble mounting disks in my machine, the command Moute returns an error saying the fd0 not exist and does not really exist, I checked in / dev fd0 and unity is not there, as I proceed, a way to fix this?

What release of Fedora? You misspelled mount in your post. You didn't misspell it on the command line per chance?

No, the floppy disk is in FAT32 format, the command would then be correct: # mount / dev/fd0-t vfat / media / floppy

The point is I formated with the floppy disabled, this would be a possible problem?
How to enable support for floppy disk?

    Hi,

First, run "modprobe floppy" in a root terminal. This will load the floppy.ko module which will initialize your floppy and will create the /dev/fd0 you need. You can also add this line to your rc.local file, if you need the floppy at every boot.

    WWell,

It worked, I had forgotten that.

"modprobe floppy" in a root terminal really worked. However, simply double-clicking on the floppy icon in the Gnome-browser does not work. It fails to recognize the device. What went wrong? And how can I fix it?
