    Every time it says. BIOS is broken

    Hi everybody,
    Since I have installed fedora 13 in my system (HP pavilion 1506tx) i rtsam getting this error everytime my system starts/ restarts. I don't know how to correct this error.

    Though it's not causing any problem in my system, but i am sure in future it may do that. I google it, but not much help I got. I posted here, hoping for a solution,

    Wild guess: Add intel_iommu=off to the kernel command line.
    Guarantee: None.

    Do you mean in terminal I will type that command? or if not then plz a little bit elaboration would be beneficial for all of us.

    For what it's worth, F12 and F13 gave me the same error messages and Kernel Ooops on The War Department's (my wife's) laptop. After hunting from hell to breakfast for a workable solution, I finally ended up here.

    Nouveau Nightmares ... The tale of the laptop is in Post #12.

    This was a known bug in F12:

    but it seems as if the Release Notes for F13 haven't been updated.

    Thank you for your replies, I come to know that it's a common problem for fedora. Unless they try to resolve this bug nothing I can do.
