Some applications will not start

Some of my applications will not start either from the launcher bar or the menu. Cheese is one of them so i tried opening in terminal and got this output...

i uninstalled some gstreamer dev files and now the apps open but directory folders still will not open...

Hey Mouse how you doin? I was just about to post that this was solved *LOL*. Apparently it was all the gstreamer dev files coz i tried restarting and then it's all working fine now. Thanks for replying though :-)
