    Sansa m250 trouble

Hi, I have a sansa m250 that was loaded with music in windows xp. But in F11 I can't see any of the music, only an MTABLE.sys file, a version file, an AUDIABLE forlder and some other small files. I tried in both mass storage and MTP modes and the same thing happens. In both of the modes, I tried rhythmnbox and amarok. amarok didn't detect the player at all, and rhythmbox said that it couldn't determine the MIME type of MTABLES.sys.
How can I view and edit the music files on my sansa device?
    Thanks
