I bought two identical dell servers. I installed 32 bit f8 on one and 64 bit f9 on the other. I've just noticed that the bogomips for the f9 box are about half the reported values for the f8 box. Is this correct/ meaningful? I'd assume that the intention of bogomips is to provide a reasonable architecture independent benchmark, so the difference surprises me:

I do note that the 64bit machine is reporting a cpu frequency of 1GHz, rather than the 2.2GHz on the 32 bit box, so this could just be a bug in the 64bit implementation that's not upping the cpu frequency properly, but I'm sure that such a bug would have been caught.
