F10 livecd boots to white screen

I'm attempting to install F10 from the livecd from the main link of the website (fresh install), but every time it gets past the loading screen and into the xWindows installer, it boots to a whitescreen. I've tried adding vga-771, vga=791, nomodeset, xmodule=radeon with no effect. This is on a fairly new rig, modern hardware. Initially I had issues with an actual CD-ROM not even getting to xWin and crashing out to the bash prompt with an error, so I moved to a USB stick and elminated that problem, only to get here. (FYI, ubuntu 8.10 seems to have the same issue for me.) Any ideas?

System:
Gigabyte EP45-DS3L (P45 and ICH10 chipset)
Intel Q6600
ASUS ATI 4870 1gig
4gb DDR2-800 (2x2gb)
Samsung 500gb x2

Answered my own question... god I feel like a linux newbie all over again.. LOL

Try adding xdriver=vesa to the initial screen when the CD first boots.

Select Install, hit tab, and add that command. I had to do this with ubuntu too. x doesn't like my radeon 4870 too much.

Fedora REALLY needs a boot option in the initial GRUB menu that offers this. Ubuntu 8.10 did. Much much easier.
