    NTFS "no permission"

I have a external harddrive with a NTFS partition. The only think is that i don't have permission to write. I try'd everything, but nothing worked zo far.

This is what i have now in Fstab /etc/fstab
    /dev/sdc1 /media/ex_hdd1 ntfs-3g defaults,umask=0022

For the longest time an entry such as this in fstab, where gid=6 represents a group that you have membership in, would allow R/W access.

    "ntfs-3g rw,noauto,noexec,user,uid=0,gid=6,umask=0007,strea ms_interface=windows,locale=en_US.UTF-8"

Since F9 something has changed either in fuse or ntfs-3g and even trying to setuid the ntfs-fg binary doesn't work for me. Although if you configure authorizations to allow user to mount external drives Gnome will mount the drive when connected.
