Hello,

I have just switched from Fedora 8 to Fedora 10 and found the following
annoying problem.

Cursor keys does not work in Konsole using the default profile settings.
However, when Linux console is selected as Key bindings in

Settings -> Edit current profile... -> Input

cursor keys on the numeric keypad work, but this the the function keys are
not available.

I have also tried to change the keyboard layout with system-config-keyboard,
the result is always the following:

Code:
Loading /lib/kbd/keymaps/i386/qwertz/hu.map.gz
  File "/usr/share/system-config-keyboard/keyboard_gui.py", line 232, in _okClicked
    return self.apply(None, False)
  File "/usr/share/system-config-keyboard/keyboard_gui.py", line 123, in apply
    keyboardBackend.modifyXconfig(fullname, layout, model, variant, options)
  File "/usr/share/system-config-keyboard/keyboard_backend.py", line 47, in modifyXconfig
    xconfig.layout[0].inputs.insert (xf86config.XF86ConfInputref ("Keyboard0", "CoreKeyboard"));
IndexError: index out-of-bounds
My computer is a brand new HP Compaq 8710p notebook with Hungarian
keyboard layout.

There is also a Fedora 8 installed on my computer that works fine.

Any idea, what is wrong and how to solve the problem?

Best regards,

Peter
