    nvidia driver no screen found

i've been running on default nv driver so far, and decided to try livna's nvidia drivers this morning.

    uname -r
    2.6.25.11-97.fc9.x86_64

    /sbin/lspci | grep -i vga
02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G71 [GeForce 7900 GS] (rev a1)
07:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G71 [GeForce 7900 GS] (rev a1)

    yum installed:
    xorg-x11-drv-nvidia x86_64 173.14.12-1.lvn9 livna 3.1 M
    Installing for dependencies:
    kmod-nvidia x86_64 173.14.12-2.lvn9 livna 23 k
    kmod-nvidia-2.6.25.11-97.fc9.x86_64 x86_64 173.14.12-2.lvn9 livna 2.6 M
    xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs x86_64 173.14.12-1.lvn9 livna 5.7 M

upon reboot - nvidia kernel module loaded ok, but X didn't start with the following message - no screens found:

solution was to manually specify pci id for the cards, as per replies here: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=118547

final xorg.conf which has a working sli is as following:
    Code:
    Section "ServerLayout"
        Identifier "single head configuration"
        Screen 0 "Screen0" 0 0

hello try to download NVIDIA-Linux-x86-177.80-pkg1.run from nvidia site.
install it. intall it with init 3. no X server should be runnig.
    then execute command

    nvidia-xconfig
    reboot

it was nice working with my fc9 machine.

now i upgraded it to fc10. some issues are started. not working in fc10 fully.
