    The REAL world! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I think some PhD's need to bone up on their science.
I think he means his world.

I wonder how many times he rides the new multi-million dollar tram over the I-5 freeway per day.
    What an elitist pig.

How can someone "forget to eat and sleep"? Maybe saying "avoid eating or sleeping" would make sense. :P

People can get addicted to anything, some more to some things than others. Though I am not web-addicted, just regular computer addicted.

Desire or addiction is woven into the fabric of our being. You can not escape it.

Bleh. Psychiatrists. There's a huge difference between regularly browsing the internet and being hooked on a physical substance...

Sometimes I wonder if these psychiatrists are just looking to justify their salaries by inventing "disorders." Oh wait, I forgot about the DSM. Well, so much for "sometimes."

I agree about shrinks, docs, lawyers, gores (read politicians), etc. They all play on our fears.

    But...

Physically addicted or not, the same results will occur if someone focuses on only one thing. Whatever that might be. Drugs, Web, eating, and on, and on...
