    install the Windows version of Mono to run .NET executables

    I am trying to run a app in wine but I get this msg

    you have to install the .NET-Framework from the mocrosoft-homepage. But afaik it doesn't really work (i do always get an error-message when doing that). Please tell me if it worked (and how you did it).
    Desktop: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.13 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 2.5 TB HDD, GeForce 8600 GTS : Fedora 15 x86_64
    Notebook: Dell xps with Intel Core 2 Duo 2.13 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB HDD , GeForce 8400m GS : Fedora 13 x86_64
    Server: Intel Celeron 900 MHz, 128 MB RAM, 20 GB HDD: Debian stable

    It says Mono, you need Project Mono.
    Try:
    Code:
    su -
    yum search mono
    There is many.
    mono-core.i386 : The Mono CIL runtime, suitable for running .NET code

    yum install mono-core.i386

    mono is the linux-version of the .NET-framework. to make windows-applications that use the .NET-framework work in wine you have to install the windows-version of mono (=> the .NET-framework ) in wine.
    mono is required to run programs that are written in a .NET-language (such as C#, VB# and others) on linux (only versions 1.1 and 2.0 are currently supported).

    Where to get this?
    I am trying to use Nokia Photos v1.6.434 here under wine in Fedora 14 x86_64. Dream on?
