But, yeah, sure, why not use SSL. I completely agree.

easyLife comes from a time before Let's Encrypt. But know my host provides it. I'll enable it.

rpmfusion and others, as I remember, did not have https access. I need to check it again.

I'll take a look on your other suggestions. But, please, keep in mind security and usability are inversely proportional. So if I start to create too much trouble, the purpose of the program will be defeated (for the users and for me, since the time I have to put in it is limited).

easyLife has been available for about 8 years and since then helping a lot a of newcomers to Fedora.

Please, feel free to collaborate: https://github.com/easyLife.

Ayup - Easylife and Autoten are the Pixie Dust that makes Fedora good to use by ordinary mortals. Many thanks and please keep up the good work.

Re: easyLife - Automated installs and configurations on Fedora!

easyLife for Fedora 25 is out. Get it here: https://easylifeproject.org/ Attention: for now, you must run it from X11 (GNOME on Xorg).

Unfortunatelly, under Wayland display server the root user cannot run the program yad (which is used by easyLife to make the menu). So until this is fixed (if it will ever be), easyLife will only work by logging in with "GNOME on Xorg" session.

    Thanks for your support!
