gnome music applet and xmms
i am trying to use gnome music applet with xmms, but when i select xmms from the plugins setting i found this "No module named xmms.control"
any idea how to solve this issue?!

I use rhythmbox and use the applet to start it off. I noticed that xmms is one that has a"no entry sign" in the option for xmms. I would imagine it won't work because its not a gnome software item. You could either start it off the normal way through Applications, add it to your panel or to your desktop for quick access.
I'd rather not have a PC than go back to Windows :D

Exactly i have the same new entry,
The issue is not just about starting the program but mainly i want it to control the play back (play, pause, next,...)

You need to install the pyxmms package, and possibly restart the applet (either by removing and readding it, or restarting your desktop session).
I'll look into adding this as a dependency for future installs.
