    No more asked for root password

    SInce upgrading to Fedora 8, I don't get the popup window asking for root password, when launching an application requiring root privileges from Gnome desktop.

    Maybe some RPM package is missing?

    this might be a stupid question but are you logged in as a regular user or root? maybe if your under root it won't ask you
    cd today and tg tomorrow <3 :D

    Also because, if I were root, the applications would start. They simply don't.

    Found! usermode-gtk was missing
