Is this the first time you are trying to use the livna repo? Have you modified the file /etc/yum.repos.d/livna.repo in anyway?

Perhaps a reinstallation of the repo file will settle the problem:
    Code:
    rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-5.rpm

Evidentli Livna isnt the problem. I reinstalled the repo and didnt work. The last 2 lines of the error message
    are puzzling:

File "/usr/lib/python2.4/ConfigParser.py", line 462, in _read
    raise MissingSectionHeaderError(fpname, lineno, line)
ConfigParser.MissingSectionHeaderError: File contains no section headers.

Dont have a clue what this is trying to tell me. Any help much appreciated

Try disabling the livna repo temporarily. Are you mixing it with anything like freshrpms?

I am using fresh rpms but have Livna turned off by default. Am using the command to enable Livna temporarily.
    Thanks for the post.

The error message tells you that the /etc/yum.repos.d/livna.repo file is broken. See what it contains.
