Well I had alot of trouble with GUIs etc. in the previous thread most of which I've fixed. However One big problem has now occured.

To successfully boot into the GUI I had to use the command:

Code:
linux nodmraid
This would allow me to get past the black screen with the X cursor and into the GUI installer.

However,

I run a RAID 0 array, which requires the dmraid to be set, in order for Anaconda to find it.

Code:
linux dmraid -v -ay
Setting this successfully enables the installer to see my RAID Array, however as you might have guessed it means that I cannot boot into the GUI!!!

Note: Text mode gives the same result unless dmraid is disabled, so I can't use that either!

Note: I have also tried the 'linux vesa' command, but it does not seem to work as when the GUI is meant to appear, the monitor shows a 'No Signal' message.

I feel that having Fedora successfully run on my PC will become a dead and buried issue. Fedora has been the only distro I'm really interested in, unfortunately *trying* to make the move to linux has not been a happy (nor successful) one. Guess its back to windows then, unless of course someone knows yet another work around.

Thanks to JEO and anyone else who tried to help.

Cheers,
