Rawhided kernel 4.12.0-0.rc0.git7.1.fc27.x86_64 works fine using VMware WS VM thus I conclude that the problem was with the Virtualbox guest additions which I did recompile. If compiiling the...

Re: Kernel 4.11 Released

Ah. Thank you. I have not worked with Fedora for awhile and assumed that Fedora 26 was Rawhide. I will update my Fedora VMs to Rawhide.

Kernel 4.10-rc2 will not boot

The latest Fedora Rawhide kernel 4.10-rc2 will not boot. I believe the problem is with the kernel itself - not Rawhide - since it will not work on openSUSE Tumbleweed or Ubuntu 17.04 either

I think I may have a reason for the slow updating of Fedora Rawhide. If so the developers are to be congratulated for this huge project. Worth the wait.

Re: Anaconda frustrations- grub install on a partition

You know all the discussion about how to install grub to a partition and not the MBR misses the point. These kludges are not part of Anaconda itself. Hence since it is avaialble and quite easy...

Re: Fedora 19 Alpha/Beta Compose's Available

The only way I can deal with the new installer is to install FC 17 -> FC18 -> FC19. I have Windows Server 2012 Ubuntu 13.04 openSUSE 12.3 and Fedora on RAID 5. No way the new installer is going...
