The biggest difference I've seen in DNF over YUM is it's unfortunate choice in names... In sports circles DNF is an acronym refering to Did Not Finish! This is unfortunate for a program designed for...

Remember KDE 4.0 when we were strapped with a developer release? Same thing here with Plasma 5, which in it's current state is a technology preview! Not to fear though, Fedora in the race...

Thanks for the input guys I got my wine compiling sorted out (mostly scraping the rust off my memory).

Yup... There are some programs that I like to install from source, as they just seem to work...

That would be fine if I knew specifically what libs I needed, but all the Wine installer is telling me is:
configure: error: Cannot build a 32-bit program, you need to install 32-bit development...

I don't think the problem is with kernel 2.6.31.6-145. I made a boot floppy with the 145 kernel, but since the last batch of updates /dev/fd0 has gone missing...

It can be a real pain if you have your menus and...

It can be a real pain if you have your menus and a lot of other stuff customized but, logging into a Gnome session and deleting or renaming the .kde folder in your home dir then log back into KDE...
