please keep posts about rawhide in the rawhide section. the kernel does run okay for me too but VirtualBox Guest Additions will not install as it isn't compatible with the kernel yet.

This is the latest kernel I have

4.12.0-0.rc7.git2.1.fc27.x86_64

kernel 4.12 final was released Sunday. Rawhid is running behind Ubuntu Artful in kernel development. openSUSE Tumbleweed is a rc8 I believe.

I believe Rawhide development has been given lower priority while F26 is being finalised. They will be back up to speed once F26 is released. The same 'slippage' happened when the Beta ISO was the main focus after missing the scheduled release date because of blockers. I'd rather they did this to be fair than carry on releasing updates for a development version in parallel that an even smaller minority of users are actually loading onto their machines.

there are currently 4 active builds of fedora which is going to stretch package developers/maintainers as well as QA resources somewhat. the developers/maintainers have to focus their priorities at times. commenting on forums about rawhide kernels being behind any other distribution certainly won't change this. feel free to offer your time and resources to the kernel package maintainers to expedite the kernel releases though.
