I've only recently moved from Ubuntu and I'm trying to help someone on this forum with a sound card problem. I want to make sure that the new sound module is loaded at startup, but I don't seem to have a /etc/modules.conf file in my FC4 installation. Is there an equivalent file somewhere else?

somewhere along the journey from linux-2.4 to 2.6 modules.conf got depreciated. The 2.6-series kernels now use "/etc/modprobe.conf" to do basicly the same thing.

Thanks guys. Just one more of those little differences that I'm learning along the way.
