View Full Version : yaboot.conf on G5 config please...

Could someone with a fedora core 4 ppc on a G5, send on this forum the yaboot.conf file because in my case i can't boot with yaboot, i have try a lot of configuration on "linux rescue" and update the yaboot with last rpm but no success...

What kind of an issue are you running into specifically? Can you post any more information that would indicate what may be incorrect about your configuration? ie: your current partition scheme and your current yaboot.conf?

Here is another forum from other people running yaboot on a G5, specifically I thought that the mention of loading that kernel parameter seemed interesting:

I would try that (linux video=ofonly), but your mileage may vary.

i resolve my problem last week.

My device option was "sd:" and i would use "sd1:", and now fedora boot correctly with yaboo.
