Hi, do you know how can i put a direct access of my drives in my desktop, like you do in windows, i use fedora core 3.

in KDE:
right-click desktop > create new > link to device > hard disk. Then fill in the info and youre done.
don't know about gnome. good luck

in Gnome right click on the desktop and then click Create Launcher. Under Name: name it whatever you like. In Comment: you can add a short description if you like. In the Command: box type nautilus / . If you want to add a custom icon, click the Icon: button (where is says No Icon). If nothing in the default pixmaps is what you want, try clicking the Browse... button and navigating to the icons directory and have a look around. One place to look in is usr/share/icons/Bluecurve/48x48/devices and selecting the gnome-dev-hardisk.png icon. That should do it.
