Ok, I need some help to install software in my server. I want to install software what all users can use. So where do I install them? I have FC3. Example irssi, psybnc and so on. And how I install them. I mean that when user just type 'irssi' it will open irssi.

thats easy
first you install your software
then do whereis program:

$ whereis ut2004
ut2004: /usr/local/bin/ut2004
so now we know the program resides in the /usr/local/bin directory.

now take a look at the /etc/profile file, it contains the exec paths for all users.
to make your prgoram available to all users append the directory from whereis to the end of /etc/profile (ie, add the follwing lines to the end of the file, as root):

PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/bin
export PATH
save teh file and youre done.

now everyone will be able to use ut2004 and be a productive member of our organization
