Ok I have never used linux before and I was thinking about using it in my new computer well I just have a few questions

1. How user friendly is Fedora Core 4? I have heard it is pretty easy to use but I want to make sure that it isnt super complicated

2. Can you play modern games on it (Counter Strike: Source, Battlefield 2)?

3. What can you do with linux that you cant do with Windows?

For every day stuff, just as easy as Windows, IMHO.

Not really a gamer myself, but with Cedega and other products I believe you can play quite a few games. There are native GNU/Linux ports of games like Doom 3 as well.

3. What can you do with linux that you cant do with Windows?

Avoid the majority of spyware/viruses without buying addtional securtiy software. ;) (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

See my other post here (http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?p=374803#post374803) for some new GNU/Linux user links.
