Hi all

I'v got a strange probleme:
to have fedora core 3 in french, i've changed:
/etc/sysconfig/i18n
with

LANG=fr_FR
GDM_LANG=fr_FR
SUPPORTED="fr_FR.UTF-8:fr_FR:fr"
SYSFONT="latarcyrheb-sun16"

now, i've fedora in french, but there is bugs; for example, if I write the command "man", it write:
Quelle page de manuel désirez-vous consulter ? but I would like
Quelle page de manuel désirez-vous consulter ?

If I write man man, no probleme with accent in the description ...

It is a big probleme when I use php and mysql ...

Do you know haw I could repare this probleme, where does I have to search ?
Is there other files that i have to change ?

Thank for answers !

mmmhh!!!
Well, if I were in your shoes, I would make a brand new or fresh install.
Asumming that french is your native language, the first (and obvious) step is to choose french at the begining of the process....
Please, pay attention, when the moment come, to choose your desired packages to install, DO NOT FORGET to mark ENGLISH as a support lenguage, is the onliest chance to resolve your problem. And, at the end of the installation, your machine will read/write french and english.
see you!
