View Full Version : Firefox Blocking Sites

I was wondering if anyone knows a way for me to add sites to some sort of
blocked list. Perhaps a plugin for firefox? I do not want to simply block images,
or popups, but the entire site. If you know of anyway to do this, please let me know.

It's called adblock. You can use it to block flash ads and specific sites.
go here. (https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/?application={ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}/)

I have tried this however, can not block entire sites. It only blocks the ads for the entire site.

Type in the url in the "New Filter"

I did this, and clicked add. I for example did www.google.com as a test, when I go to google though, it just
loads without the image. I want the entire site to be blocked.

When i add a site that i have bookmarked, to the filter list, adblock won't allow me to connect to that site. When i remove the filter, it allows me to connect.
It seems to work for me. Maybe someone else could try it.

Perhaps the problem is with my settings?

Enable adblock (Checked)
Remove Ads (Marked)
Options >>
Site blocking (Checked)
check parent links (Checked)

Everything else is unmarked.

I can't connect to google with this filter applied.
I am using the default settings, only change is site blocking.
