View Full Version : OpenGL Sound Sync Problems

This problem has been hounding me for a while. If anyone knows how to fix it, well, you're my new hero.

When I run OpenGL applications, I have a problem where the sound is about a second behind the graphics. This seems to happen only in OpenGL applications--Tuxracer, Supertux, and GL-117 to name a few. Take Tuxracer for example: I run over the fish, I hear the pop a second later. Movie applications like XINE are perfectly synced, as are almost all other games and applications I've tried. But these OpenGL games are killing me.

I'm running FC 4, kernel 2.6.12-1.1447. My video card is an NVIDIA GeForce 4000 MX, my soundcard (if that matters) is a SoundBlaster Live. I have updated the kernel with Livna's NVIDIA kernel module and NVIDIA-GLX mod.

I'm not sure what other information I need to post. I eagerly await your help.

I have that same problem, mayby someone will post solution to that problem soon.
