Hi,

I have been trying to setup an ldap server. Got the configuration from a nice tutorial... i have edited an ldif file and added all the necessary contacts (about 50):

When I do:

ldapmodify -x -h localhost -D cn=Manager,dc=XX,dc=YYYYYYY,dc=ZZZ -w secret -f test.ldif

The first 5 entries are added/modified and then I get:

ldap_modify: No such object (32)
matched DN: ou=people,dc=XX,dc=YYYYYYY,dc=ZZZ

Seems to me that the fifth record already existed before stating this new tutorial, tried another one before which didn't work.

Is there a way to clean my address book? Or to solve the problem?

Thank you.

ldapdelete can be used but is not very user friendly.
I'm using plpldapadmin to create/modify/remove entries from my LDAP server.
It is far more usable even if it requires a web server.
