For a while on Windows XP i've been using this lovely download manager call Free Download Manager or FDM for short (http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/ ). Unfortunatly I can't seem to find any dowload manger for linux that has it's two main features: Automatic mirror searching and Automatic file segmenting. If anyone knows of one please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Try D4X. You can find a rpm on freshrpms.net.

Tried d4x and it looks interesting. However it does not have automatic mirror search nor automatic segmenting of dowloads based on found mirrors (such as is foudn in getright or FDM). I can manually look up mirrors for a downloading file, but I can't seem to get the manager to download from more than one source at a time. Any suggestions?
