Has anyone successfully setup a Fedora Core 3 box with JFFNMS (http://jffnms.sourceforge.net) ? I had it running on my Win2k box, but it performed like garbage. I installed and setup a LAMP (Linux, Apache, mySQL, PHP) server using Fedora3, but I am stuck half way through the installation b/c I am newbie.

The JFFNMA Unix instructions are HERE (http://jffnms.sourceforge.net/jffnms/INSTALL)

I am at the point where you install Fping. My problem is I tried the updated 'yum.conf' and i am unable to find Fping doing a 'yum search fping'. Can someone help me get JFFNMS up and running?

Thank you in advance,

Jman

fping is available as a third party package, it's just not obvious how to get it. Read the FAQ about installing software (http://www.fedorafaq.org/#installsoftware) and copy the sample yum.conf. Then run
yum --enablerepo dag install fping
