I'm running FC3 and I have been running into this problem for a long time.

What I want to do is to be able to right click on a file(s) in Nautilus and send them as an email attachment through Evolution.

Why is this so hard to enable by default? Do I need to run a "nautilus script" to be able to do that? If so, I have no idea how to use the scripts in Nautilus. Can anyone help me with this? Windows has had this simple feature for so long that I find it nearly insane that we haven't done it yet. I thought it used to be enabled in Redhat 9 but that's been so long ago...

Found a nautilus-sento package that should do what you want. The only Fedora version I could find is here (http://www.nrpms.net/Packages/fedora-3-i386/testing/nautilus-sendto.html). After you setup yum with the documentation on the site, run
yum install nautilus-sendto
